It's not a buyers market unless you buy. Help home sellers
get the highest price for their home. If they say they "specialize" in
representing buyers and
don't tell you about the potential for being a dual agent BEWARE. You
are being tricked. How will you hold title To use an Exclusive Buyer's Agent, make sure the company the agent works for does not have any "listings" or your "buyers' agent" may suddenly turn into a dual agent representing the seller's interest as well. |

you think dual agency is ok - think about the fact that many people
list with a close friend or relative in the business. Do you
think that agent will not try to help their friend?Buyers AgentBe alert and watch for deceptive advertising of buyer agent services. MOST, are misleading.Any licensed agent can claim to be a 'buyer's agent ', but few can maintain that relationship throughout your home search. If the company "your" agent works for lists property for sale they may ask you to let them be a "dual agent" (ie represent the seller as well) if they get the opportunity, instead of really being a buyer's agent. Just say no. That is not buyer representation. If they advertised as a buyer's agent without disclosing that fact in the content with the advertisement - that is deception.
